Helicopter Suprise

All was dark and quiet they had told us we must stay hidden in our cellars with some essentials and one candle which must be kept well away from any windows. They knew Germany was coming. They knew they would launch a surprise attack so they are launching their own. The news had spread around fairly quickly and so had the lies. There were five large objects on the top of one of cliffs edging the beach, they were believed to be tanks, cannons, or small jets, but I, Mary-Jane, knew that on the top of that cliff were five new inventions made by Bobbee. That's his real name but everyone just calls him Bob. The five inventions were called helicopters. They had large propellers on top and a long tail bit behind it; but anyway the plan was a flame would be lit in twenty places around the northern area( this where I am at this time).Suddenly a light was light outside. It was coming from the town square, my dad was there he had told me the night before so that I was sure I knew where my dad was.

It all happened so fast, as soon as the light was lit all the candles in every house were blown out and the covers on the helicopters were pulled off. Some men climbed into the helicopters, to be precise there were five in each-two with grenades one on coordinates plus a pilot and co-pilot.
The five helicopters took off and flew to their certain positions .

Then I heard it, the faint sound of planes, they were coming closer every second then came the first explosion. It was a grenade thrown by one of the men in the helicopters , I saw the explosion it blew off one of the attacking planes wings . After that there were alot more explosions which caused my little sister to start crying then I noticed a strong glow coming from the town square where my dad had lit the signal light.
I couldn't bear it any longer I just had to know my dad was OK. So when my mum was distracted I ran, I ran upstairs and tryed to get out the door with no success so I took a few steps back and ran as fast I could through the glass window beside the door.Outside wads hot and stuffy but that didn’t stop me from finding my dad. I ran towards the town square where I thought my dad would be, my arm was bleeding, probably from the glass window. When I got there it was a terrible scene. there was a destroyed helicopter which was on fire but the light wasn’t bright enough for me to see my dad. So I ran over to the helicopter and found the pilot dead but his helmet was still intact so I put it on and tipped the night vision screen down. The night Vision screen also invented by Bob.when I found my dad he was burnt and lying on the ground very still. I picked up his radio turned it onto the aid channel and requested an urgent ambulance. It was then I fainted. Next thing I knew I was in hospital. After that I asked lots of questions and the nurse said I had to stay in the hospital for a month. “Is my dad ok” I asked. “Well he’s a strong fighter but...”. The nurse had a sad expression while talking about my dad. “You mean he’s dead” I whispered.”Well yes. I’m sorry”.

The end.

Home baking recipe #3

Here is my recipe number three and I reckon it’s my best yet because the recipe is for...Sherbet!!!This sherbet is great for sour loving taste buds, but I warn you if your your taste buds just can’t take sour stuff then do not make this recipe to eat!!!

Sherbet:

1 cup of icing sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of citric acid
1 teaspoon of tartaric acid
2 table spoons of raro or something like it
Method:
Put the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together.
DONE!!!
Also if you want to take it to the extreme try adding more tiny amounts of tartaric or citric acid to the sherbet!

Have fun! :)
